We like your city of Kuching, it gives us a feeling like landed in a place perfect for retirement. I like the nature, rain forest, sea beaches, long house, Orang utans, crocodile farm, mountain hills with lots of different birds whispering in the trees, flora and fauna, wild fishes swimming in the streams, and so on..
There are lots of local delicacies offered at much reasonable price. During evening time, we usually dine at Top Spot selling seafood. Price of a kilogram of cooked lobster in fist size costs us about USD25.OO, a one kilogram of cooked dish of pamfret fish costs us USD 23.00 only. There are many more finger - licking - good dishes to be savored. If missed it, regret it
During morning time, we never missed out to eat at the typical coffee shop selling fragrant local coffee at USD 0.20, authentic Sarawak lasak ( curry rice noodle) and kolok mee (noodle), chicken rice, nasi lemak ( rice cooked in coconut milk ) priced at USD 1.30 each bowl. Satay ( meat skewers ), curry beef and many more are not to be missed. We put on weight each time after visiting the city in Kuching
